Iceland Day Trips is a privately held company, which offers private tours for those visiting Iceland, be it for a stop-over, a few day trip or a longer journey. The company provides service to small groups and couples, families, as well as organizing annual celebrations and incentives for companies wanting to do something out of the ordinary due to the occasion. We hit the ground running with our direct approach to fulfilling our customers expectations.

 

The company offers the “bread and butter” tours which are the most popular routes in Iceland. We however offer these routes with a twist, stopping at places that might catch our eye while driving. If you see something on the way that interests you, we will stop and take a look. During these tours we offer snacks and beverages. The snacks varies from chocolate goodies and smoked lamb meat sandwich, to the traditional shark and brennivín schnapps.

 

Our customized trips give you the opportunity to choose from everything this little paradise island has to offer. Iceland is the only place in the world where you can see glaciers, geysers, geothermal hot springs and volcanoes – all in one day. Not to mention the sea, glacial rivers, freshwater rivers, mountains, natural lakes and black sand beaches. We´ll take you inside a dormant volcano, walking on glaciers, sailing on glacier lagoons, snowmobiling, Super Jeep cruising in the highlands, bathing in natural geothermal pools in the middle of nowhere, whale watching, horseback riding and rafting amongst other things. We will fly you over an active volcanic eruption or take you on a relaxing trip up in the highlands or out in the country side, watching the northern lights or enjoying the midnight sun.
